I am Allen, from Ohio and I am new. Looking for good political discussion, I am a conservative. Big government, taxation and the spending they are about is madness.
I am somewhat liberal on some social issues. Abortion is not appropriate for me. I was pro-choice until I read about Infanticide and I basically puked and became pro-life.
I do believe in maintaining Social Security and Medicare. I built my life around those. I do believe we need to refine them. People will have to pay more. We can't go on like this.
Other entitlements are up for grabs in my mind. I believe welfare should be a parachute and not a life style. We need to change some of the entitlements because they are so lucrative it is easy for people to stay home. The UC benefits at 99 weeks is nuts.
There are jobs and you might have to work two jobs Don't depend on my income to support the lazy.
